Based in Exshaw, Alberta, Heart Mountain Rescue is a foster based rescue, helping dogs find their adventure buddy.
What started as illustrating pet portraits for Heart Mountain Rescue of their adopted dogs turned into a wonderful experience volunteering with the HMR team as Graphic Designer and Illustrator. In this role, I developed and implemented a brand style guide, Illustrations for merch sold at markets, and design collateral to spread awareness of the rescue to expand their reach to save more lives.

When creating visuals for Heart Mountain Rescue, I strive to portray rescue dogs as the epitome of strength, love, and vitality. With this theme as my guide, I meticulously crafted and illustrated an array of merchandise that includes stickers, bucket hats, tote bags, bandannas, and heartwarming pet portraits.
